Handmade and functional.  This design started with the cobalt blue glass, and I loved it so much I had to do it in this amazing shimmery, irrodized taupe.  Transparent irrodized taupe glass is cut and grinded into intricate shapes that make up this design.  The taupe is layered onto white glass and melted in a kiln up to 1445 degrees, fusing it together.   I melt the glass at this temperature because it creates texture, so when you run your hand over this nightlight, you will feel the taupe glass raised higher than the white glass.
