These glass earrings are made by fusing two colors of glass, a beautiful bluish greenish color on bottom and on top a transparent blue glass. This creates a unique brilliant color that reminds me of the color in a peacock feather.   The two shapes were cut to match each other in size and shape.  Thin sheet glass is used to keep these earrings light weight. 

These hanging ear wires are sterling silver and the total length of the earrings are 2 inches long. The glass piece is 1 in long and .5 inch wide.      

By fusing to a temperature of 1415 in my kiln, the glass melts together creating a smooth edge.

All of my work is fused glass, handmade in my studio in Chico, California.
