Transparent blue drops over white solid glass make up the base to these earrings. The two teardrops were cut and grinded to match each other in size and shape. Then a floral design is cut out and arranged on the bottom of each drop. This glass is a bright transparent orangy red. These earrings are not heavy.
These hanging ear wires are 14/20 sterling silver and the total length of the earrings are 2 inches long. The glass piece is 1.25 in long and 1inch wide.
By fusing to a temperature of 1445 in my kiln, the glass melts together but you can still feel the texture of each piece of glass. They come with rubber stops.
All of my work is fused glass, handmade in my studio in Chico, California.
