Handmade fused glass ring. For this ring I have used a transparent clear and swirly blue glass fused over mustard glass. It turned out to be a great combination and I have created a drop shape here. This ring is not only beautiful from the top, but the sides are smooth and show each layer melted together. By fusing to a temperature of 1415 in my kiln, the glass melts together.
The glass is glued using an industrial adhesive to a sterling silver base that is adjustable. This base is very strong, not flimsy like other adjustable rings. It takes some muscle to adjust this base, this is good- it means once you fit it to your finger, it will not change shape and become flimsy.
My rings are not just for special occasions, I wear one every day, swimming, doing dishes, cleaning, everything! I design and create each piece by hand, feel confident you are buying a sturdy ring - they are funky and fabulous!
