These are the first earrings in my new collection; I am pretty excited about them. Swirly coral /orange glass was used for the whole design. The two teardrops were cut and grinded to match each other in size and shape. Then a floral design is cut out and arranged on the bottom of each drop. You will notice that the two earrings do not match perfectly, but coordinate perfectly. This is due to the swirls unique to this color of glass. This makes them fabulously unique. These earrings are not heavy as they are only one layer of glass with design.
These hanging ear wires are 14/20 gold filled and the total length of the earrings are 2 inches long. The glass piece is 1.25 in long and 1inch wide.
By fusing to a temperature of 1445 in my kiln, the glass melts together but you can still feel the texture of each piece of glass. They come with rubber stops.
All of my work is fused glass, handmade in my studio in Chico, California.
